The Mobile Adventure in Cockermouth is an outdoor adventure activity provider with activities to suit all ages and abilities. They are a small, adaptable, professional and highly flexible outdoor company which runs a wide variety of activities across the Lake District. If you want to do something outdoors then they can help make it happen.
Popular activities include Ghyll Scrambling which is pretty similar to gorge walking. You can jump and slide down waterfalls all under the watchful eye of their highly experienced guide. Children can take part from the age of 7.
Another popular activity is rock climbing and their taster sessions are great for novices. Children can again take part from the age of 7. Plus they offer Via Ferrata sessions on the side of Honister Pass. It is a series of challenging scrambles linked by metal ladders, wire bridges and a huge cargo net. Children can take part from the age of 10 and must be 1.3m tall. Other activities on offer include canoeing, kayaking, raft building and mine climbing. They offer full-day river trips, caving, mountain scrambling and more.
