Mount Hawke Skatepark
The Mount Hawke Skatepark is located in Mount Hawke, Cornwall. It is Cornwall’s largest indoor skatepark and is set in a 22,000 square-foot purpose-built warehouse plus there is an outdoor area. It is split into several different sections and its bespoke timber ramps are set on a concrete base which means that they grip well and ride smoothly. The additional outdoor plaza was built in 2020. There is something for all ages and abilities.
The course is made up of hips, a driveway, a volcano, flat banks, ledges, rails and more. There is a more BMX-focused section with some large quarterpipes, jump boxes, a massive very wall and a long rhythm section. There are ramps at varying heights including some pretty massive extensions.
Also indoors there is a street section with a range of obstacles. It is a great place for beginners and for more experienced riders wanting to fine-tune their skills. Riders up to the age of 15 must wear a helmet and riders up to the age of 11 must have a designated responsible adult with them. They can even host your child’s birthday party and the venue can be hired out privately. Private coaching sessions can also be rebooked.
