Mr Mulligan's Lost World Stevenage

Mr Mulligan's Lost World Stevenage

Mr Mulligan’s is an indoor crazy golf experience. There are a few of these dotted around the country, but we went to the one in Stevenage.

Things to do at Mr Mulligan’s Lost World Stevenage

This venue has two different 18-hole courses to choose from, both with different themes – Jungle Explorers and Ocean Adventures. Watch out for the dinosaur as you walk up the stairs – it’s behind you! It’s quite realistic with a loud ROAR! The Ocean Adventures course is great for people visiting with a buggy.

The Jungle Explorers course is upstairs and there is no lift. You are given clubs, (they have different sizes for children) and a scorecard and you get to pick which colour ball to have. The course is fairly simple, and to start with making your way around a boat, a few holes later walking on what looks like a jetty and actually into the boat. The props are very good and make you feel like you are on an ocean adventure. There are figures around the course as well.

The adventure really comes to life about a third of the way around, when you are directed into the room at the back, which becomes a sensory room with UV lights, a real feeling of being under the sea with an octopus and sharks around you. Watching families coming into the room after us and seeing their reactions was lovely. The balls glow in the dark and anything white like shoelaces really glow, and it is just magical. The other course leads you into the darkest parts of the jungle.
