Muckleburgh Military Collection
The Muckleburgh Military Collection is located in Weybourne, Norfolk. The museum is situated on a former military camp on the North Norfolk coast. It was first opened as a museum in 1988 and it is the largest privately owned military museum in the UK.
There is an extensive range of tanks and armoured cars that are maintained in working condition. Other exhibits include artillery, machine guns and missiles. Plus there is a collection of ships and land warfare models.
Also in the museum, there is the Suffolk and Norfolk Yeomanry collection which includes uniforms, weapons, photographs and documents. A number of the vehicles are demonstrated in action from time to time. For those that can drive, there are bookable tank driving experiences at a cost of £150 pp. Also on-site there is a picnic and children’s play area, dog kennels and they run military lorry rides.
