Needles Landmark Attraction

Needles Landmark Attraction

The Needles Landmark Attraction is located next to the Needles landmark in Alum Bay on the Isle of Wight. There are family-friendly rides and attractions by coloured sand cliffs with a chairlift to the beach and a lighthouse.

What is there to do at Needles Landmark Attraction?

They are one of the Isle of Wight’s most iconic sights and a fabulous backdrop to all the things you can do here. They have a wide range of thrilling rides and nostalgic games with a tea cup ride, Dino jeep safari, Water Walkerz and a carousel. There is also an 11-hole Jurassic-themed adventure golf course.

The chairlift is one of the best ways to view the Needles. You could start your day with a trip from the top of the cliffs down to the beach below. The chairlift takes you back up to the top but before taking your return journey you can enjoy the beach and perhaps enjoy a trip on the pleasure boat.

There is a sand shop where you can create your own unique sand ornaments. The natural multi-coloured sands of Alum Bay have been collected and made into souvenirs since early Victorian times. The bay is unique in having 21 recognised shades of colour. You can no longer collect your own sand but with gifts and activities in the shop, you can certainly take some of the colourful sand home with you that way.

Other things to do include being able to see how sweet treats are made and you can then sample the results. There are live demonstrations at Alum Bay Glass and there is a 4D cinema experience
