Nevis Range Mountain Experience

The Nevis Range Mountain Resort Experience can be found in Torlundy near Fort William in the Highlands of Scotland. There is a mountain gondola, snowsports and mountain biking. The Mountain Gondola is the only one in the UK. You can enjoy a ride on it up Aonach Mor Mountain in the Nevis Range. It reaches a height of 650 metres and it was built on the 8th highest mountain in the UK, originally used to transport skiers up the slopes it has now become a popular tourist attraction.

The Gondola is subject to weather conditions and it can close without notice. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes each way. It allows you to take in breathtaking panoramic views of the Scottish Highlands. There are two relatively easy walks accessible from the Top Gondola station (one takes 45 minutes, the other an hour).

Snowsports are usually available from late December through to April, although this all depends on snow conditions. They have a ski and snowboard school plus equipment hire is available. There are a variety of runs from gentle beginner slopes by the Gondola Top station to more advanced off-piste runs.
