Newquay Zoo
Newquay Zoo is a relatively small zoo in Cornwall. They even offer animal experiences (for an additional cost). The zoo encourages you to take it slow and enjoy watching the animals they also hold daily talks.
Things to do at the Newquay Zoo
Exhibits include an African Savannah which is home to a variety of animals, such as zebra, wildebeest and antelope. There is a Madagascan walkthrough which is home to exotic birds and lemurs. The village farm is popular with families with lots of animals, for you to meet including pygmy goats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks and more.
Gems of the Jungle is an exhibit showcasing Southeast Asian songbirds. This is a walk-in exhibit with free-flying birds. The zoo has over 130 species of animals. Other things to see and do include penguins, a Tropical house, lions, meerkats, red pandas and more. There is even a subtropical garden, a dragon maze and a play area for the kids.
They also offer animal experiences. These include a red panda experience, lion feeding experience, junior zoo keeper, penguin encounter and zoo keeper. The minimum age for most of these experiences is 8 years old.

Is there food and drink available?
There is a cafe and a snack bar serving a range of hot and cold food and drinks. You are welcome to bring a picnic.

A zoo that has a good variety of animals and different themed areas, a dragon maze, animal experiences, a play area and gardens. There are toilets and places to purchase food and drinks.
What are the ticket prices?
An adult ticket without donation costs £14.85 and children are £11.15. Children under 3 are free. Family tickets are available and animal experiences have an additional cost.
