Norfolk Lavender

Norfolk Lavender

Norfolk Lavender Farmer is situated next to Farmer Fred’s Play Barn near Heacham, Norfolk so it’s a great place to combine a visit to. They have around 100 acres of lavender fields which are spectacular when the lavender is flowering.

They are England’s premier lavender farm which was founded in 1932 and is world-renowned. They are set in beautiful gardens and the on-site lavender distillery can be viewed by the public. The summer season is when the lavenders are the most vibrant but the site is open almost all year round. They also have a guide providing tours. Please note that the distillery is only open in July and early August depending on the weather. You can also explore their landscaped gardens.

Also on-site there are animal gardens and a playpark. You can purchase food from the admissions kiosk to feed their animals, and they have peacocks, ducks and other fowl roaming free. Other animals include pigs, meerkats, wallabies, insects and reptiles. There is a charge for this and over winter they are only open at weekends.
