North East Land Sea and Air Museum
Museum Overview
The North East Land Sea and Air Museum are located in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. Formerly known as the North East Aircraft Museum it is a volunteer-run museum situated on the former RAF Usworth/Sunderland airport.
The museum is home to aircraft, a military vehicles collection and more. Amongst their collection, there is a Cold War Avro Vulcan B2 Bomber which became the first Vulcan to go into a private collection. They have exhibits of both local and national significance.
There is a 607 squadron display, a WWII street scene and a main aircraft collection. Plus their indoor military Romney exhibition, a navy collection and more aircraft outdoors. They also run a range of special events, including scooter rallies, classic car days and more.
