North Somerset Bird of Prey Centre
The North Somerset Bird of Prey Centre is located in the Smallway Retail Park in Congresbury, Somerset. They are a small zoo which offers experience days offering up-close encounters and educational shows. They are not open for general admissions on a daily basis but they do have open days. These do not need to be pre-booked and the list of dates can be found by clicking the ‘Open Days’ tab on their website.
There are over 70 resident birds including eagles, owls, kites, vultures, hawks and falcons. Plus they also have some exotic animals, including foxes, meerkats, ferrets, marmosets, skunks and armadillos. You can also book one of their experience days. These run all year round and must be pre-booked by email They are a great way of getting up close and personal with their birds of prey and other animals. Experiences start from £39.
Experiences you can choose from include a rare and endangered species experience from the age of 16, a raptor experience from the age of 8, an ultimate predator experience from the age of 10 and an owl experience from the age of 8 and more.
