Northampton and Lamport Railway
The Northampton and Lamport railway also known as the NLR, is a heritage railway in Northamptonshire. It is based at Pitsford and Brampton stations, near the villages of Pitsford and Brampton.
The passenger train currently operates on a section of line about 1.5 miles (2.4km) in length, which departs from and arrives at Pitsford and Brampton Station. The trains run alongside the Brampton Valley Way, which is a 14-mile linear park from Northampton to Market Harborough. You can not only ride one of their trains along the former line but walk along and watch the steam and diesel engines in action.
On selected services, you can purchase a Day Rover ticket and ride the trains all day. They run both steam and diesel trains. The railway hosts a number of family-friendly events, throughout the year.

There is a buffet serving drinks and food. You are welcome to bring a picnic, they have indoor and outdoor picnic areas.

Dog friendly?
Dogs on leads are welcome on all trains and platforms. Not permitted in buffet or on Santa special services due to food hygiene.
