Northampton Museum and Art Gallery

The Northampton Museum and Art Gallery are located in the centre of Northampton. It houses one of the largest collections of shoes in the world and has been reopened after a major redevelopment project.
They also display a wide and diverse range of objects that tell the story of the town and the surrounding area. They celebrate and commemorate the people that have lived in the area and those that live there today. Their shoes are of international significance, as are parts of their art collection. As well as shoes they also have exhibits relating to social history, costume, archaeology, medals, art, geology, lace and more.
