Museum Overview

The Oxford Bus Museum and Morris Motors Museum is a transport museum located in Long Hanborough, Oxfordshire. It is home to a collection of 40 historic buses and coaches plus the remains of four horse trams and a replica City of Oxford Tramways Company tram and Morris cars.

The museum tells the story of bus and coach travel around Oxfordshire over the last 130 years. As well as a number of vehicles they also have a wide selection of artefacts including bus stops, ticket machines, timetables, uniforms and more. There are also some photos illustrating public transport through the ages.

Since 2004 they have also been home to the Morris Motors museum. This charts the story of these classic British cars which were produced at Cowley in Oxford. There is an impressive collection of vintage Morris vehicles.

There are two large exhibition halls full of displays and vehicles. Plus two sheds packed with their operational fleet of buses and a restoration workshop with a viewing gallery. They often offer free, heritage bus rides and run events, with model railway displays.
