Things to do at Paignton Zoo Environmental Park
At the zoo, there is a reptile tropics and desert house with large greenhouses which are home to free-flying birds and reptiles. You can walk through Lemur woods, this is more fun if you combine it with the talk/feeding times.
There is a suspended wobbly bridge that takes you to the big cats. There are lots of displays around the park telling you about their breeding programs and conservation. Other animals include monkeys, zebra, rhinos and giraffes.
Their animal encounter arena is where a lot of the scheduled events, take place. You can watch birds of prey flying above your head and more. Paignton Zoo has some great play areas around the park plus nature trails and a walk-through aviary with more free-flying birds. They also have an indoor play area.
