Paint and Create Shropshire

Paint and Create is a pottery painting studio located on the Apley Estate in Norton, Shropshire. Other things to do on the estate include the Apley Play Barn with a nature trail and Scott’s Donkeys and Animal Park.

They are a family-friendly venue offering pottery painting and foam clay activities. They have a large range of bisque pottery blanks for you to choose from. You can create your masterpiece with the paints provided and they are happy to lend a hand should you need one. An average pottery painting session lasts between 1-2 hours and all ages are welcome. Once you have finished your masterpiece they will glaze and fire it for collection in around 10-14 days.

Foam Clay is a fun air-drying modelling clay with a very soft, foam paste consistency. It contains small polystyrene beads that can coat, wrap and cover a variety of items and surfaces. It doesn’t require any firing so you can take it home on the same day. It is perfect for sculpturing, shaping, modelling and more. This activity is suitable for ages 3 and over. They can even host your child’s birthday party with three different options to choose from including a Potter’s Wheel party.
