Pannett Park

Pannett Park is a picturesque hillside park in Whitby, North Yorkshire. It is high up in the town and enjoys some fantastic views over Whitby.

What is there to do at Pannett Park?

There is an excellent nautical-themed, modern play area for the kids, with plenty to play on for young and old. There are obstacles dotted around plus swings, a climbing net, slides and more. Much of the equipment can be used by people with special needs.

Next to the playground, there is a museum. Whitby Museum is full of treasure troves with fossils, model ships, carved jet, toys, costumes and more. You can pick leaflets up from the museum with trails to take with you around the park.

The park itself is quite small but very pleasant to walk around. Many of the locals feed the very friendly squirrels in this park. There are a few winding paths with sculptures dotted around and some pretty gardens including a pretty Lilly pool.
