Paradise Park is a mini kids theme park in Newhaven, East Sussex. Located at the Paradise Park garden centre. Other attractions include a museum about conservation, garden trails and a play area.
Things to do at Paradise Park
The Planet Earth museum follows the extraordinary life story of our planet, Earth. The exhibition is one of the finest of its type in the country. It is home to a unique collection of fossils, minerals and crystals up to 500 million years old. There is a dinosaur zone and you can follow the progress of man through displays in the museum.
There are themed plant houses with a desert zone, oriental style garden including Koi carp and more. There is a Dinosaur Safari where you can experience the sights and sounds of prehistoric times. The Paradise gardens are Newhaven’s hidden secret with several small lakes, waterfalls and fountains. The Sussex History Trail meanders through the gardens and includes hand-crafted models of Sussex landmarks.
The Playzone areas cater for children of all ages with a large tower and tube slide. Triassic Treetops adventure play area with netted walkways through the trees. Plus there is an indoor play area with coloured tubes, balls, tunnels and slides plus a separate soft play area for under 5s. There is a miniature railway around the gardens, amusements and a nine-hole crazy golf course. They also host regular events.
