Things to do at Pearson Park Hull

The park is also known as the People’s Park and it was first opened in 1861. It has been recently restored to its former glory with funding from the National Lottery. It was the first public park in Hull and it still retains many of its historic features. This includes the original perimeter carriage drive, the lake and seven Grade 2 listed structures. There is a fantastic bandstand where concerts are often performed.

The park has an excellent play area and is now fully open after the completion of conservation works in the park. There is also an outdoor gym in the grounds. Pearson Park also has a wildlife garden.
