Things to do at Pecorama review

Pecorama is one of Devon’s top family-friendly attractions and it is located in Beer, near Seaton, Devon. It is set high up on the hillside overlooking the picturesque fishing village of Beer.

On-site there is what is considered to be Britain’s finest light railway the Beer Heights Light railway. It first opened in 1975 and due to its location, it enjoys some wonderful views over Lyme Bay and along the Jurassic coast.

The railway is 1 mile in length and it starts and finishes just inside the main garden entrance. It starts off through the formal gardens, it includes many bridges, extensive sidings and a lengthy tunnel. You can choose to alight at Lake Charlotte.

Also at Pecorama, there is a Model railway Exhibition. You can enjoy a walk around their gardens including the Millenium Garden with water features and a shell grotto. There is crazy golf and table tennis available at Whistle Stop plus four outside play areas for varying ages. Their Wildway area over the road offers a lovely woodland walk, bug hotel, pond and zip wire.
