Pickaquoy Centre

The Pickaquoy Centre is located in Kirkwall, Orkney in the Scottish Highlands. Locally known as ‘Picky’ it is recognised as a first-class sport, arts, conference and social facility. It includes Orkney’s largest cinema, two swimming pools, fitness classes and badminton courts. There is a climbing wall, soft play and they run kids’ holiday camps. The centre also has a high-quality campsite.
Children up to the age of 5 can play in Jungle World which is their purpose-built adventure soft play area. It includes a ball pool, log slide, stacking cubes, musical instruments and more. It is located next to the cafe. The entrance price can also include access to arena inflatables. This is suitable for children up to the age of 12 and there is a choice of inflatables.
The swimming pool is 25 metres in length and there is also a leisure pool with fun water features and a slide. The centre can even host your child’s birthday party.
