Plodda Falls

Plodda Falls

Plodda Falls is one of Scotland’s hidden treasures. Located near Tomich in the Highlands the site has a spectacular waterfall that cascades past towering trees. The falls are a staggering 46 metres high and they are the highest and most spectacular waterfall in the area.

There are good waymarked paths throughout and the falls form the climax of this pleasant walk through a magnificent forest. The walk to the falls starts from the Plodda Falls car park. The walk is around 1.5 miles and takes about one hour.

Please note that there is a narrow section that may be muddy. There are some steep slopes, some with stone steps. The short walk takes you to a view right over the top of the falls.
