Polperro Model Village

The Polperro Model Village, Land of Legend and mini railway is located in the village of Polperro, near Looe, Cornwall. It is a replica of the quaint Cornish fishing village plus there are animated folklore displays and a model railway.

This attraction has been open for at least 60 years and has survived fire and floods. In the model village, you will see many of the features which have made Polperro so famous. As it is a reproduction of the actual village you will be able to appreciate an aerial view of this beautiful and quaint ancient fishing village. You can walk the narrow winding streets and see all the intricate detail.

The Land of Legend offers you a unique opportunity to catch many fascinating glimpses of ancient Cornwall, all presented in miniature. It is a unique show of lights, sound and animation. There is also a 00 gauge model railway with various moving trains. It incorporates village life, farms, a river, a station and a depot plus lots more.
