Poolsbrook Country Park is located in Staveley near Chesterfield, Derbyshire. It is Chesterfield’s largest park and it is 165 acres in size. It offers something for everybody.
There are miles of trails, extensive woodland, plantations, meadows and lakes. Plus children’s play areas. The park is open 24 hours a day to pedestrians and closes at dusk to vehicles. There are cycle trails as well as walking trails plus there is an orienteering route.
Walkers and cyclists are welcome to use the extensive networks of trails and horse riding is permitted on certain way-marked routes. The park links to the Trans Pennine Trail. The park is host to various events and activities throughout the year. There are also lakes that you can fish from.
