The Port Logan Fish Pond is located in Stranraer, Dumfries and Galloway. It is a fascinating 200-year-old fish larder perched on the rocks near Port Logan on the beautiful Galloway coast.

They are only a small attraction but they are certainly unique and children will love being able to feed their fish. At the end of a beautiful sandy beach, there is a pretty whitewashed cottage with a quaint turret.

The fishpond is created from a natural feature of the rocky coastline and was originally used as a sea fish larder for the Laird of Logan. It is the oldest and most unique natural marine aquarium, in the UK. The fishpond is home to rays, cod, pollock, turbot, mullet, starfish, hermit crabs and more. You can even feed some of their fish by hand.
