The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery are located in Hanley, Staffordshire. You can discover the story of The Potteries through works of art, local history, natural sciences and an impressive collection of Staffordshire ceramics.

They have over 5,000 pieces of ceramic pottery on display in their galleries. There are items relating to social history and archaeology including artefacts from the prehistoric period up to post-medieval ceramics. Plus collections of decorative arts, fine art and natural history.

It is also home to the fascinating Staffordshire Hoard and the Spitfire Gallery. There are children’s trails you can follow. The museum also runs a range of events and drop-in activities. There are also changing exhibitions throughout the year.
