Prior Park Landscape Garden
Prior Park Landscape Garden is a National Trust property located near Bath, Somerset. They were designed in the 18th century by the poet Alexander Pope and the landscape gardener Capability Brown.
It is a magical landscape with winding paths, hidden features and views over Bath. There is an impressive Palladian Bridge which is one of only four bridges of this design in the world. They often have a family-friendly trail running with extra things for the kids to do.
Also in the gardens, there is a grotto with rocks, minerals and fossils that decorate the floor and roof, this is not always open. There is also a summerhouse which was recreated in the 1990s using historical images as a guide. There are three lakes and dams to discover at the lower end of the garden plus other hidden surprises.
