Puffin Cruises Amble

Puffin Cruises Amble

Dave Gray’s Puffin Cruises sail from the dock steps in Amble, Northumberland. The boat trips were established in 1969 and take you out and around Coquet Island.

Coquet Island is a seabird paradise situated about a mile from Amble. The island is home to around 40,000 nesting sea birds such as puffins, terns, Kittiwakes and Eider ducks. These all nest there in the summer months,

All year round there is a grey seal colony which can be seen on the east side of the island. The island’s rich marine life can be viewed from their two vessels. Their tours last for around 1 hour. They have two passenger vessels including a restored lifeboat.
