Museum Overview
The Ramsey Rural Museum CIO is located in Ramsey near Huntingdon, Peterborough. They are an independent museum situated in the open countryside on the edge of a small Fenland town. The museum is housed in renovated 17th-century farm buildings.
Inside the museum, there are many items and exhibits that have been donated by local companies and the public. On-site you can see a variety of farming machinery and vehicles spanning 200 years of rural life. Other exhibits include a Victorian study, a history of toys, a chemist’s shop and army, navy and airforce items. They hold a number of annual events, throughout the year.
