Ray Mill Island
Ray Mill Island is located near Maidenhead, Berkshire. It is a great place for a family picnic and the island was named after the Ray family who once had a flour mill there.
At the northern end of the island, you will find Boulter’s Weir which is one of 50 remaining on the Thames. A walk around the perimeter of the park will contribute to 1,000 steps. On the island, you will find an aviary and guinea pig enclosures. There are wooden animals dotted around for imaginative play and a small play area for children aged 3-8 years.
