Things to do at Readymoney Cove Beach Review
This small, sheltered bay is situated in the pretty harbour town of Fowey. It is sheltered by surrounding cliffs by the Fowey Estuary and offers safe bathing and snorkelling. During summer there’s a swimming platform moored off the beach and the waters are usually calm.
On the sandy beach you can enjoy views of the esturary, Polruan, and the 16th century ruins of St Catherine’s Castle. The beach is on the South West Coast path so you’ll find stunning coastal walks in both directions.
There is a small beach shop and café here where you can buy essentials like buckets and spades and refreshments.
Toilets are available near the beach and it’s a short walk into the town of Fowey for restaurants, bars, and shops. There is a large car park in Fowey where you can park all day.
Dogs are welcome on the beach outside of the summer season which runs from Easter until the beginning of September.
