Rheged Indoor Play

Rheged is a glass-roofed Lakeland heritage centre in a former quarry that has an indoor play centre and a huge 3D cinema screen. It is located in Rheged, near Penrith in Cumbria. The soft play area is suitable for children under the age of 8 (or 137cm). It is a stimulating mini-world of slides, tunnels, tents and a ball pool plus a dedicated area for the under 5s. Play slots are booked in advance to limit numbers and each session lasts for one hour.

Making Space is their area where you can create your own decopatch model, using glue, patterned papers and your imagination. This is a great family-friendly activity. Their giant-screen cinema offers an immersive experience that is unique in the area. The 18.3-metre wide screen invites you to leap into the action of the latest Hollywood release or be transported to one of the world’s great theatres.
