RHS Garden Rosemoor
RHS Garden Rosemoor is a vast garden owned and maintained by the RHS located near Torrington in Devon. It is nestled in a Devon valley and informal and formal plantings are blended to a magical effect.
What is there to do at RHS Garden Rosemoor?
There are different areas of the gardens with highlights including rose gardens, a hot garden and a cool garden. Plus Model gardens, a Winter Garden, a rock gully, an exotic garden, arboretums and more. The stone garden is one of the oldest parts of the garden and kids will love the Stumpery with gnarled tree limbs and small stumps.
The Brash play area is a natural play area with a sandpit, slide, stepping logs, climbing frames and more. The Copse play area was inspired by their 2012 Quentin Blake exhibition. It features a ‘Green Ship’ and has equipment suitable for slightly older children including a see-saw and spiro-giro. There are also stepping logs and living willow sculptures for younger children.
They run a range of yearly events, including family-friendly events, and activities including a winter light trail. Various sculptures, children’s trails and craft activities throughout school holidays ensure there is always plenty to do.

Free for members of the RHS. An adult ticket costs £12.50 without gift aid, children 5-16 £6.10 without gift aid, children under 5 are free and family tickets are available.
