Roadford Lake Country Park is located at Broadwoodwidger near Lifton, Devon. There is the spectacular Roadford Lake which is surrounded by countryside including the Wolf Valley and the dramatic tors of Dartmoor.
What can you do at Roadford Lake Country Park?
There is a great range of activities on offer at the park. These include watersports such as kayaking, canoeing, paddleboarding and sailing.
Land-based activities include archery, a high ropes course and climbing. Plus fishing, walking and cycling. There is also a small children’s play area next to the cafe. Kids’ activity sheets can be downloaded from their website.
There are numerous walks at Roadford, ranging from a short stroll to a 13-mile hike. For a great 30-minute brisk walk and wheelchair-accessible route, start from the café and follow the paths to the beautiful sundial and back.
