Things to do at Royal Victoria Park review

Royal Victoria Park is a public park located in Bath, Somerset. It was opened in 1830 by the 11-year-old Princess Victoria and it was the first park to carry her name. Apparently, she never returned due to someone making a disparaging comment about the thickness of her ankles!

They are just a short stroll away from the city centre and it is a beautiful expanse of parkland which spans 57 acres. The site was originally an arboretum and it is home to a beautiful botanic garden and the Great Dell Aerial Walkway. The spectacular aerial walkway around the back of the glade provides breathtaking, tree-framed views amongst the greenery and across the wider park.

You can enjoy a game of tennis at the tennis centre which has indoor and outdoor hard courts. They also have an 18-hole mini golf course, Victoria Falls adventure Golf. There is an expansive adventure playground with climbing frames, zip lines and a skateboard area.

Make sure you take some duck food as there are usually plenty waiting to be fed. It’s a lovely park to enjoy a walk and it is worth stopping by the beautiful tropical glasshouse.
