Museum Overview

Royston Museum is located in the centre of Royston, Hertfordshire. It is an independent charity with a rich and diverse collection where you can discover over 2,000 years of Royston’s history.

The museum was first established in 1865 and has been at its current site since 1984. Today the museum hosts events and workshops throughout the year and people of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to visit the museum and discover its collections.

You will see everything from Stone Age axe heads to Victorian farming equipment, WWII helmets and more. They also run fortnightly Toddler Music and Dance workshops and craft workshops for 4- to 10-year-olds.
