RSPB Dearne Valley Old Moor is located in Bolton Upon Dearne, South Yorkshire. It is a family-friendly nature reserve with a visitor centre and 7 viewing hides plus walking trails.

What can you do at RSPB Dearne Valley Old Moor?

They are blessed with a wide range of facilities and teeming with wildlife there is something for everyone to enjoy. From idyllic walks or wildlife watching to pond dipping and their adventure playground. Their meadows are full of orchids, wildflowers and butterflies in the summer. In the winter they are home to hundreds of ducks, swans and geese.

As well as the adventure playground there is a discovery zone with heritage games, a family hide, events, and activities at the weekends and during school holidays. You can hire out discovery backpacks and activity sheets plus pond dipping kits from April until the end of October.
