RSPB Frampton Marsh
Frampton Marsh is a nature reserve in Lincolnshire, England. The reserve is situated on the coast of The Wash, some 4 miles from the town of Boston, between the outfalls of the Rivers Welland and Witham, and near the village of Frampton.
It is a coastal reserve set up to bring The Wash closer to you. It is made up of wetlands, reedbeds and wet grassland. It is a beautiful place to go for a walk. With 3 km of accessible footpaths and as one of the leading places for wildlife in the UK it is a place you don’t want to forget to take your binoculars.
Facilities also include a visitor centre and three hides. Two of which have 360-degree views. Families are always made welcome. You can enjoy close views of the birds from the visitor centre and they have provided telescopes for visitors to use. There is often an RSPB guide on hand to answer your questions. They host many child-friendly activities and treasure trails during the school holidays. Plus you can hire their wildlife explorer backpacks.
