RSPB Minsmere

RSPB Minsmere is a coastal nature reserve with woodland and wetlands located near Westleton, Suffolk. It is a great place for families to visit with 7 bird spotting hides, nature trails, a Wild Zone and a Wild Wood Adventure Area.

You can choose an idyllic walk around the site and head to the coastal lagoons to see an impressive variety of birds. You may even see cattle and ponies grazing there. The Wild Zone has fun activities for children including a play tree and child-sized nests.

In the Wild Wood area, you can build a den or look for some minibeasts. Make sure you visit the Discovery Centre as they often have family-friendly activities and other self-guided activities.

There is a tea room serving food and drinks. You are welcome to picnic outdoors.

Adults are £9 and children are £5, although the first child is free and under 5 are also free.
