Runway Visitor Park
The Runway Visitor Park is located at Manchester Airport in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. It is a great day out for all the family and it is one of the North West’s most popular outdoor attractions. They are located next to one of the busiest runways in the country.
The park has raised viewing areas where you can stand literally just a few metres away from the planes as they go past. You can also see a number of retired planes which are within the park. This includes Concorde and a former RAF military spy plane, Nimrod.
In addition to a large picnic area, there is a coffee house, a play area and a shop. There is a fun Fly 360 simulator where you are in control of a fighter plane with full 360-degree motion. You can also enjoy tours of their Concorde aircraft.
