You can explore the changing coastline and its military history and enjoy a walk by the sea. It is one of the largest and most important wildlife sites in England. The reserve is home to more than 4,300 species of plants and animals, including 300 that are rare and endangered.
A visit starts at their Discovery Centre with a cafe that enjoys great views across the salt marsh. They run a range of activities and events, including family-friendly things to do. A network of footpaths runs throughout the nature reserve and 4 of the 5 hides are wheelchair accessible.
