Rye House Kart Raceway
Rye House Kart Raceway is a karting circuit located in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. It is one of the oldest tracks in the country and has been used by a number of famous Formula 1 racing drivers. They are also home to Laser Combat, Nerf Wars and the Rye-assic Adventure Park.
The karting centre offers a great introduction to the world of motorsport. There is a junior karting circuit for children aged 6 and over with a minimum height of 4ft2″. Also on the junior circuit, they have electric karts for 3-5-year-olds plus bambino karts for 5-6-year-olds.
Children can race on the main circuit from the age of 8-16, which is also for adults. There will be no more than 12 karts on the track and there is a minimum height of 4ft 4″. The track is approx 900 metres and consists of 8 corners.
Rye House Laser Combat is ideal for ages 7 and over. Their indoor arena has sound, light, smoke and visual effects. They also run Nerf War sessions for aged 5 and over. Sessions are timed and up to 20 players can play a game.
