Sale Water Park
Sale Water Park is a 152-acre area of parkland with a 52-acre artificial lake. It is located in the area of Trafford, Greater Manchester. The park has water sports facilities that take place on the main large lake. The river Mersey runs through the heart of the park.
Trafford Water Sports Centre offers a wide range of water sports taster activities. You can try paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing. Instruction can be provided and they run school holiday clubs. Land-based activities such as orienteering are also available.
There are walking and cycling routes within the park. You can hire a bike from Velo Times located in the park. The park is also a good place to spot wildlife including Cormorants.
