Santa Pod Raceway

Santa Pod Raceway

Attraction Overview

The Santa Pod Raceway is located in Podington, Bedfordshire. It is Europe’s first permanent drag racing venue for 1/4 and 1/8 mile racing.

The race track has been built on a disused Second World War air base that was once used by the USAAF’s 92nd bomb group. They are home to the FIA European Drag Racing championships and they bill themselves as the fastest and loudest motorsports venue on earth.

They host around 80 events, each year which include drag racing, modified car shows, VW Beetle and Campervan festivals. Plus Japanese performance car shows, retro and classic car shows plus more. You can see top fuel dragsters, jet cars, monster trucks, drifting, stunt displays and live music. For young children and those sensitive to loud noises, they recommend ear protection when in close proximity to the track.
