Scolton Manor

Scolton Manor

Scolton Manor is located in Bethlehem, near Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire. It is a Victorian country house and country park that was once a home and is now a museum in a Grade II* listed building.

The exhibition hall displays a broad range of items from the history of Pembrokeshire. This includes natural history items, geology, employment and trade. Plus life during WWII and the Gwalia stores. There is also a collection of paintings, drawings and artefacts relating to the artist David Burton-Richardson.

In the outbuildings, there are collections reflecting country life in Pembrokeshire. There are stables and carriages, a blacksmith and more. The grounds include a Victorian walled garden and a pineapple house which in 2018 produced what is believed to be the first pineapple grown in Wales for over 100 years. There is even a steam engine within the grounds with its own little station (just for show) and a legends sculpture trail.

There is a fun play area for little ones and for bigger kids too. There are slides, swings, a spinning climbing web, twisters and a zip wire. Plus outdoor instruments to play on. In the woodlands, there is a family-friendly bike trail. Also within the grounds, there is a pirate play ship and a woodland eco play village.
