Serenity Farne Island Boat Tours run from the harbour in Seahouses, Northumberland. They set sail throughout the year to one of Britain’s most spectacular wildlife habitats with a range of trips to choose from.

Their skippers are knowledgeable about the geography, history and wildlife of the Farne Islands. On board, they will have a wildlife guide who will be happy to answer your questions. Tours include A grey seal and seabird cruise which is great for all the family. You will see the magnificent scenery of the islands and learn of Grace Darling’s life-saving heroics. Times and frequencies are subject to change.

Another cruise is their Puffin cruise which runs from May until the end of the puffin season which is sometime in July. This tour is 2 hours long and is perfect for everyone to view and photograph the puffins, terns, kittiwakes and more, you may even spot some seals.

They also run sunset cruises, Inner Farne Island cruises, Staple Island cruises and a Holy Island trip. Their Inner Farne trip takes approximately 2.5-3 hours and even includes a 1-hour landing on Inner Farne (subject to avian flu). You can also spend two hours ashore on their Holy Island trip allowing you the opportunity to explore Lindisfarne Castle, the Priory museum and more.

What are the ticket prices?

Grey seal and seabird cruise – Adults £20, children £15 and under 4s are free. Puffin cruise adults £25, children £18 and children under 4 are free. Other cruises have separate pricing.
