Sheringham Beach
Sheringham is one of Norfolk’s blue flag beaches. While the tide is in, Sheringham Beach is mostly huge rocks. These large boulders make a great place to go rock pooling at the right times. Sheringham Beach has a beautiful, smooth sandy beach when the tide is out.
Due to the nature of the large rocks, Sheringham Beach is not particularly accessible. There are no public toilets on the seafront, however, public toilets can be found a short walk away on Wyndham Street. Other toilets can be found along the coastal path, close to the boating lake or at the North Norfolk railway.
For parking, there are a few options available. East Cliff car park is great for a beach trip however, it is on the top of a cliff and overlooks the beach. Right near the North Norfolk railway is another option for parking, and it involves a 5-10 minute walk through town. The Mo Sheringham Museum also has parking available but it is small and fills up quickly.
