Museum Overview
Sheringham Museum is a museum located in the town of Sheringham, Norfolk. It is situated by the sea right on Sheringham Beach and it has a recorded history that stretches back over a thousand years.
Inside the museum tells the history of the town and its people through displays packed with interesting things to see, hear and do. There are three floors of exhibits with items relating to social history, agriculture and fishing and there is a spectacular fleet of boats.
Visitors are surprised by the size of the museum as it is much bigger inside than it looks on the outside. Many people spend over an hour here exploring its quirky corners. The museum runs a number of events throughout the year including a major exhibition each summer.
