Skate Central
Attraction Overview
Skate Central is an indoor roller skating/rollerblading rink on Queens Road in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. They host weekly public roller disco sessions.
The venue first opened in 2005 but it was originally the home of the ‘Silver Blades’ ice rink which operated in the city from 1968 to 2005. As well as hosting roller skating sessions they can also host your child’s birthday party.
They are also home to roller hockey leagues and they regularly host music concerts and amateur boxing events. They have skates to hire from a child 8 to an adult 13. You can bring your own skates if you have any. Adults are allowed to walk on the rink without skates to help a child. Parents and guardians can spectate for free.
