Snettisham Park

Snettisham Park

Snettisham Park is a working farm located near King’s Lynn, Norfolk. They are a fun family-friendly day out with the highlight being their deer safaris.

Things to see and do at Snettisham Park

The park first opened to the public in 1986. They grow wheat, malting barley, sugar beet and grass which are grazed by their 400-ewe flock, their herd of red deer and horses and ponies from their stables.

A trip to visit them can involve many adventures from seeing lambs being born to their spectacular 45-minute deer safari. There may be the opportunity to bottle feed their lambs, collect fresh farm eggs, ride one of their ponies (school holidays) and take a walk on one of the three trails.

Around the farm, there are other animals, you can meet including goats, pigs, tortoises, ducks, calves and the resident sheepdogs. There is also a children’s play area, a sandpit and pedal tractors for smaller children.

Their covered trailers are pulled by one of their tractors on their Deer Safari. During the round trip, you will meet and be able to feed their herd of red deer. Many of their deer are happy to feed from your hands. The walking trails around the farm differ in length with a 2/3rd mile short farming trail, a 1.5-mile discovery trail and a 2.5-mile archaeology trail. Make sure you bring your wellies or walking boots!
