Soho House Museum is located in Birmingham, West Midlands. It celebrates the life of Matthew Boulton and his partnership with James Watt. Plus his contribution to the Midlands Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution and his membership of the Lunar Society of Birmingham.
Matthew Boulton was an industrialist and entrepreneur and Soho House was his home from 1767 to 1809. It is one of the most elegant museums in Birmingham. It stands as a beautifully restored monument that reflects the fashions and tastes of the late Georgian period.
